So, an after thought, I should actually show you the fabric I've bought.
-On left side: 40 10" squares in earth tones but very bright patterns.
-random 4" pink squares
-4 different charm packs
-2 Jelly roles (one of which matches a charm pack)
-yards of peach and cream and 4" squares of peach and cream colors.
-random bright fabric that I loved so I got little bits of
That's about it. I have plans to make a quilt for my bed with the 10" squares and the jelly role and charm pack that match are for a quilt for Cecelia when she gets tired of her Ikea steal of a deal bed cover. I also want to make a couple of baby quilts. So I need ideas!!!!
What's a girl to do???
I'm trying to figure out what quilt to do next. I've gone a little hog wild with buying fabric cheap over the internet and on the sale table. Now I have to figure out what to do with it all. I'm looking for opinions. Comment on your choice! Or throw in another choice. I'll let you know what I decide.

I think Mark likes this swirly one best.

I think I like this one best... maybe...

My newest find...
So, because I'm out of school (at least for a couple more weeks) and we all know I don't sit still very well, besides my kids and home projects and reading lots of books, I've also been keeping track of this family. I put a new link up to Matt's web page (Matt, Liz, and Madeline). He has an awful story of love and loss and new beginnings all at once. I'm completely addicted. I wish I lived closer so I could give this guy a hug! Check it out and tell me what you think...

PS: Thanks Stephanie for introducing me!

The latest on my projects...
I painted the ceiling in the den and finally hung Mark's swords.

I got a new couch cover and the pillows didn't match so I went and bought new fabric and made new pillow covers.

This is the toddler quilt I'm making for Johnathan (Let's hope that name sticks). Which is my girlfriend Carrie's bouncing baby boy due at the end of June. It's about half way done.

This is a toddler quilt. I had a bunch of fabric and it was too cute together. The stripes is the material I'm going to use for the back. I found it in the sale bin even and it matches so perfect! I'll keep you up to date on how it turns out!

Cecelia's 5th birthday!

She wanted to make a pink cake, so we made a pink cake.

This is mother's day. Aidan ate so much cake he fell asleep mid-bit fork still in hand. I tried to take it from him and he woke up, put it down and turned over to get more comfortable. Not even trying to fight it!
Mark turned 30!

Because I'm such a cool wife, he now has a wii. We're completely addicted! Cecelia won't try it and Aidan tries but is a little off. Very funny to watch!

My Latest Project...
School has finally finished and I'm done with all my finals. Hurray! Thus I've been working on finishing the kids bedroom. Aidan is still in his toddler bed but it's only a matter of time before he moves to his big boy bed so it's all ready and waiting for him.

Here's the changes to Aidan's bedroom.

The Castle Bedroom! (finished at last!)

Aidan's corner of the room...

Neutral play area...

Cecelia's corner of the room...

Dress-up corner, what every little girl needs.

How to be the coolest mom ever:
1) Allow your 4 year old daughter to pick the theme of a bedroom. (A rather large bedroom)
2) Have a father-in-law cool enough to buy you a laser level for your birthday. Without which all those "lovely" strips would not be possible. (Thanks Richard!)
3) Ditch any sanity at the door and loose all sense of rationality. This will allow you to believe the task can be completed and that all things are possible!

Stay tuned in for the next project...
